Two Senior Community Managers Join CAMS Charleston, South Carolina Team
Charleston, SC (April 2022): Community Association Management Services (CAMS), an industry leader in community association management throughout the Carolinas, is pleased to announce that Kim Hurd and Crystal Mierow have been named Senior Community Managers in the Charleston, SC, region.
As Senior Community Managers, Hurd and Mierow will take on responsibilities beyond those of a traditional community manager. Some of these include supervising on-site managers and staff, developing and implementing strategies to assist communities in achieving their short and long-term goals, overseeing vendor performance, and providing guidance to boards on association finances and budgeting.
Hurd, a 30-year veteran of the community management industry, has held positions as the on-site community manager for large-scale communities and managed portfolios of communities. She joined the CAMS team in 2015 and has proven herself to be a great source of knowledge and a true asset to both her clients and coworkers.
“I am excited about my promotion to Senior Community Manager and appreciate the recognition of my accomplishments,” said Hurd of her promotion. “I look forward to the continued success of our team.”
Joining the CAMS team in February 2022, Mierow has been in the real estate industry since 2002 and segued into community association management in 2013. Since entering the industry, she has managed portfolios of associations and several different types of on-site communities, giving her a well-rounded skill set when it comes to understanding the needs of her communities.
“My work environments in the past have varied enormously, and CAMS has a great combination of all the best aspects into one,” said Mierow of her new position. “I look forward to a long and fulfilling career with CAMS!”
Ronda Bossert, Regional Vice President of CAMS Charleston area, is excited to bring on additional leadership and grow her team.
“Kim Hurd has been with us for over six years and in the industry for over 20. Her extensive experience with all types of communities and her dedication to her clients make her such a great asset to us here in the Charleston Region,” said Bossert. “She handles many of our high-touch clients and is highly endorsed by them. In addition, Kim is always willing to help out a teammate and goes out of her way to provide support and assistance.”
“Crystal recently joined our team and has already become a big part of it,” continued Bossert. “Her industry experience and management strength immediately made us a stronger team. In addition, she fits in well with her easy-going and kind personality. We are thrilled to have her!”
