CAMS Cyndi Perry Earns Association Management Specialist Designation
Brunswick County, NC (October 2022): Community Association Management Services (CAMS), North and South Carolina's premier community management company, is pleased to announce that Cyndi Perry, a community manager in its Brunswick County region, has earned her Association Management Specialist (AMS) credential.
Perry joined the CAMS team in 2018 and currently serves as the on-site manager for one of Brunswick County's fastest-growing communities. Before entering the community management industry, she spent 27 years in multi-family management. Additionally, Perry has her real estate license in North and South Carolina.
"Earning my CMCA (the basic community manager credential) and then my AMS within three years has been extremely helpful in my community management career," said Perry of her accomplishment. "I really believe in the saying knowledge is power and look forward to pursuing more educational opportunities."
To earn the AMS credential, managers must have at least two years of experience in community management and complete advanced coursework. In addition, they must have already earned their Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) credential. Managers who have earned the AMS have elevated their practical knowledge and expertise, which greatly benefits the communities they serve.
Deanna King, Vice President of the Brunswick County region, is proud to see Perry's growth since joining CAMS.
"Cyndi has grown leaps and bounds in the past three years, and her passion for community management is seen through earning her AMS designation," said King. "Earning the AMS requires a significant amount of course time. We are proud to have her as part of our team."
