CAMS Ashley Exum Earns CMCA Designation
Community Association Management Services (CAMS), North and South Carolina’s premier community management company, is proud to announce that Ashley Exum, CMCA®, a community manager in its Wilmington region, recently earned her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation. Exum has worked with CAMS since 2021 and in the community management industry since 2018.
"I'm excited to earn my CMCA so I can continue to increase my industry knowledge and work towards earning additional industry credentials," said Exum of her achievement.
Vice President of CAMS Wilmington region, Rich Orduno, is also proud of Exum for pursuing her industry credentials. "We're proud of Ashley for taking this step to increase her knowledge base, which will help her better serve her community partners," said Orduno.
The CMCA® certification, developed by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB), provides managers with the specialized knowledge needed to effectively manage associations, including managing finances, understanding legal considerations, and developing effective communication strategies between board members and homeowners. In addition, earning this certification ensures that managers are up to date on best practices within the industry and adhere to a strict code of ethics.
